OffenderWatch® Remote Express is operated by Watch Systems, LLC ("OffenderWatch," "we," "us," or "our"), headquartered in Mandeville, Louisiana. Remote Express is a compliance platform used by law enforcement agencies to facilitate remote sex offender registration updates.

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information provided by registered users ("you") of the Remote Express platform.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information in connection with your use of Remote Express:

• Identity information: Name, date of birth, last four digits of Social Security Number, and state of registration
• Contact information: Email address and mobile phone number
• Location data: A one-time GPS location recorded at the time of each registration session (not continuously tracked)
• Biometric data: Facial recognition image captured for identity verification purposes
• Registration data: Address, vehicle information, and other details required under your state's sex offender registration laws
• Device and session data: Device type, operating system, and session timestamps
• Payment information: Credit or debit card information processed through our secure payment provider

Your registration data is shared with your supervising law enforcement agency as required for sex offender registry compliance. This is the core function of the platform.

• Payment processors for subscription billing

5. Data Security

Remote Express is hosted through a CJIS-compliant infrastructure via Nlets. We implement technical and administrative safeguards including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and audit logging. However, no system can guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your registration records for a period of 1 year following the termination of your registration obligation, or as required by applicable state law and law enforcement agency data retention policies, whichever is longer.

Mobile phone numbers collected for SMS notifications are retained for the same period unless you opt out of SMS messaging, in which case your number is removed from the active messaging list.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights regarding your personal information. Because Remote Express operates in a law enforcement context, some standard consumer privacy rights may be limited or subject to legal exceptions.
